  I cannot speak for each condo in this gated community but the one we stayed at was not very good. The condo was obviously not maintained. Kitchen cabinet doors were coming off their hinges. One of the bathrooms sinks leaked and ruined multiple rolls of toilet paper. Many legs of the dining room chairs were loose. The hide-a-bed was very uncomfortable and had multiple questionable brown stains. As well, couch cushions were stained. The lowest the air conditioner could be set to is 70°. A note above the thermostat claimed that going any lower would supposedly freeze the unit.
  
  Now for the good things. The community has two pools. Neither were super big but they were well maintained and refreshing in 100° Florida weather. Since it is a gated community, we always felt safe. We were never afraid of burglars. In fact, we hardly ever saw another person other than those hanging out by the pool. Neighbors were never an issue and we rarely heard more than footsteps coming from the upstairs attendants. But the big selling point here is how close it is to Disney. At only minutes away, this location was very convenient for commuting back and forth to the parks.
  
  Overall, you are paying for convenience. It is a bit more roomy than a hotel and built for an extended stay. With proper care and much needed maintenance, Villas of Island Club Condos could be better. Until then, I suggest looking into another location in the area.
